WHO ARE WE ?

Marc and Nadia POULALION, founders of the agency «Immobilier & Partners» talk about their firm :

Marc Poulalion. Real estate in Marrakesh is for us the continuing of a long experience formerly acquired in France. Though you may quite often come to real estate by sheer luck, you don't stay in this business for nearly 20 years without a passion for it, especially when you work as a couple.

Nadia Poulalion. It is usual to say that real estate is rather a ladies business since it is a matter of taste and money… Although ladies could go along with these terms, I believe this is a rather short statement. Personally, I prefer to speak about feeling (or intuition) and budget but it is not enough: housing must meet not only requirements but also expectations from each and everyone. For example, a customer who wishes to acquire a villa on a golf course would rather be handled by my husband who knows far better than me this sector and the comparative offers in Marrakesh.

MP. The question we are often asked is: What is "Immobiler & Partners" bringing more than others, while real estate offer in Marrakesh appears already saturated ?
First, I wish to clarify the situation : people talk about saturation because over a very short period of time, any kind of failing shopkeeper or insufficiently paid barber has turned himself / herself into a real estate agent.

NP. It might be useful to remind the role of a real estate agent: it is first of all a person whom you trust for advising you, in particular when you arrive in a city you don't know and even more so in a country new to you.
We must take the place of the buyer to raise the good questions and to identify possible flaws or shortcomings of the proposed property. It should never be forgotten that, in a real estate deal, our customer is the buyer: without buyer, no sale!
Upon a first contact, we spend a lot of time discussing with our customers which, eventually, saves us a considerable amount of time: when you clearly specify the nature of the wanted property and the desired district, you avoid running around Marrakesh while betting on luck to find happiness.

MP. It should be remembered that a property always has to meet specifications, even when you fall in love with it.
This is the reason why we take particular care of our customers to guide them in their choice while advising them on the present value of the property and the possible evolution. We also make sure the acquisition process runs smoothly.

NP. In conclusion, the trust we build with our customers lasts quite often beyond the signature at the notary public and it is not unusual that some of these customers become friends.
Indeed, this trade is first of all based on human relationship and this is certainly the reason for our ceaseless passion for real estate.
